Rosemira Organic's well balanced, effective yet gentle hand sanitizer is comprised of Reagent Grade Alcohol and Reagent Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (30%), known to quickly kill germs and viruses. It is blended with Aloe Vera Gel to reduce the drying effects of alcohol, and an antiseptic proprietary blend of Citrus Essential Oils to naturally disinfect and offer an alternative to synthetically fragranced sanitizers. A great product to take when you're on the go and when there's no direct access to water and soap.Our choice of essential oils was not based on scent alone. We were looking for essential oils with strong antiseptic qualities as well as being calming and uplifting.
Among the oils we've chosen to use:
· Grapefruit Essential Oil: Has potent antibacterial and antimicrobial effects. Effectively fights viruses and certain strains of bacteria such as E. Coli & Staphylococcus aureus. Research of 5 essential oils demonstrated Grapefruit Essential Oil to be the most powerful in regards to its antimicrobial effects against MRSA (a group of bacteria usually harder to treat and often resistant to common antibiotics). This oil's antiviral properties are attributed to the high concentration of antiviral & antibacterial phytonutrients called terpene limonoids.
Studies link Citrus essential oils that contain the same compounds as Grapefruit Essential Oil to calming and anti-anxiety effects, which in part are attributed to Limonene. Initial research studies demonstrate it may be effective in lowering blood pressure and stress levels, though more studies are still needed.
· Lemon Essential Oil: Research on the health effects of the use of Lemon essential oil is still limited. There's strong evidence suggesting its scent has natural mood-enhancing qualities and contributes to stress reduction. This benefit has been linked to Lemon's scent stimulation of Serotonin and Dopamine production which directly contributes to decreased anxiety.

How to Use
Shake well and spray one or two sprays of hand sanitizer liquid onto your palm. Rub your hands together until dry. It can also be used on your devices, doorknobs and anything you encounter as you venture into the world.
