A gentle exfoliating ritual that smells of roses and honey and leaves skin soft and fresh.
Frankincense and Rose Exfoliating Facial Scrub is a gentle two-part botanical scrub from Rosemira, made to polish and soften all skin types, especially dry and mature skin. It is hand batched fresh without synthetic preservatives.
Why it works
The dry blend of clays, oats, rice, sea salt, sandalwood, and honey powder gently lifts away dead skin, while the liquid infusion of plum kernel oil, frankincense and rock rose hydrosols, and mitti attar nourishes and refines. Together they leave skin smoother, softer, and glowing.
Key botanicals
- Plum kernel oil: antioxidant rich, hydrating
- Frankincense hydrosol: refining and revitalizing
- Rock rose hydrosol: toning and hydrating
- Clay blend: gently cleansing and exfoliating
- Honey powder: softening and moisturizing
How to use
In a flat dish, place about one teaspoon of the powder. Shake the liquid bottle and add about one and a half teaspoons, mixing to a relatively wet paste so it stays comfortable on the skin while it exfoliates. Massage gently over the face and neck, then wipe away with a damp cotton pad and follow with the rest of your routine. Use twice a week. The liquid is meant only to be mixed with the powder, not used alone.
Freshness and care
This scrub arrives in two parts, a powder and a liquid blend of oils, hydrosols, and essential oils, both in violet miron glass. We keep them separate, and free of preservatives, to protect freshness. Mix only as much as you need for one use, just before applying. Refrigerating the liquid portion is not required but is recommended, since scrubs are used slowly and the unpreserved hydrosols keep best chilled.
Who it is for
All skin types, and especially dry and mature skin.
The Rosemira difference
Every Rosemira formula is hand batched fresh and made without synthetic preservatives, because fresh botanical actives work and most skincare is already too old to prove it. Each formula is rooted in founder Dr. Mira Herman's forty years of clinical practice as a herbalist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, and nutritionist.
