Bergamot Mint
Citrus Aurantium Bergamia
The name Bergamot is derived from the Italian city of Bergamo, where the oil was first sold. Most of the production of Bergamot essential oil takes place in southern Italy, where it’s expeller-pressed from the peel of the citrus fruit after the pulp has been removed.
Bergamot essential oil reduces inflammation and lowers cholesterol levels. Used mainly in aromatherapy for its stimulating properties, Bergamot Oil can also be applied on the scalp to revive the hair bulbs and encourage hair growth. Bergamot’s natural stimulants direct blood flow to the scalp, ensuring proper delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles. It’s also effective as an ingredient in acne treatments.
